Ironbark Rent-to-Own was founded in 2026 by a team of equipment-finance and SMB-lending operators who saw the same thing every week: a hard-working business with real cashflow getting turned away by a bank for being too new, too lumpy, or carrying a bit of ATO debt.

The Australian non-bank equipment finance market is well served at the top — heavy machinery, big tickets, prime credit. And it's well served in single niches like hospitality. But the broad middle — trades, fit-outs, fitness, beauty, mobile services, all under $150k — sits in a gap. That gap is who we're built for.

Our product is straightforward: a 12-month commercial rental on a business asset, structured so you can buy it, return it, extend it, or upgrade it at the end. We hold the asset. You keep your cashflow, your balance sheet, and your runway. The whole thing is 100% tax deductible.
